Pre-Professional Program

Our Pre-Professional Program is for students interested in pursuing a career in dance. Previous dance experience, including pointe work, is required, and entry into the Program is by audition only. Students in the Pre-Professional Program are expected to enroll for the full year and to join BAC’s Junior Company.

Each week, students will attend three Ballet 4/5 classes (two hours in length, including 30 minutes of pointe work), one Adult/Open class (75 minutes in length), and one PBT or Jazz class (60 minutes in length).

Students in the Pre-Professional Program are expected to spend one hour each week as a teacher’s assistant or front desk assistant.
