Covid-19

At Ballet Academy of Charleston, your health and well-being are very important to us. Accordingly, we have instituted the following Covid-19 Health & Safety Policies and Procedures.

Mask Policy
Masks are not required.

Sanitation of the studio
Teachers will wipe down the barres, studio and bathroom door knobs between all classes. A more thorough cleaning will take place on a daily basis. Mats will be sanitized every day.

Health Monitoring
Students may not come to the studio if they are sick. If you have kept your child home from school on any day for health-related reasons, please do not bring your child to the studio on that day.

In addition, regardless of vaccination status, students who have confirmed or suspected COVID-19 or who are showing symptoms of COVID-19 should isolate in accordance with CDC guidelines and not return to the studio until after the end of their isolation period.  Please review these CDC “Isolation” guidelines to determine when the isolation period begins and ends, as the determination of the first and last days of the isolation period is very fact specific.

Students who have come into close contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19 should not come to the studio until the end of their quarantine period.  Please review these CDC “Calculation Quarantine” guidelines to determine when the quarantine period begins and ends, as the determination of the first and last days of the quarantine period is very fact specific and depends, among other things, on vaccination status or having had a confirmed case of Covid-19 in the past 90 days.
